Nach Abschluss der Dolmetscher- und Übersetzerschule (DOZ) in Zürich sowie Studien am Institute of International Studies im kalifornischen Monterey arbeitete sie während eines Jahres als Paralegal/Übersetzerin im Anwaltsbüro Fox, Horan & Camerini in New York und war danach während acht Jahren dem Anwaltsbüro Naegeli & Streichenberg in Zürich als Übersetzerin angegliedert. Seit 2000 firmiert sie unter Christine Naegeli Architext.

After completing her studies at the Zurich School of Interpretation and Translation (DOZ) and the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California, Christine Naegeli worked for one year as a legal assistant/translator in the law firm Fox, Horan & Camerini in New York and was thereafter affiliated as translator to the law firm Naegeli & Streichenberg in Zurich for eight years. Since 2000 she has operated under the firm name Christine Naegeli Architext.

Geb. 1966, Beraterin/Korrektorin für wirtschaftliche Fachübersetzungen
Nach dem Betriebswirtschaftsstudium an der Hochschule St. Gallen war sie im Verlagsbereich in verschiedenen Funktionen (Marketing, Controlling) tätig. Sie kann auf eine mehrjährige Führungsfunktion im internationalen Umfeld zurückblicken. An der Fachhochschule Zürich war sie fünf Jahre lang Dozentin für Rechnungswesen mit dem Schwerpunktthema Internationale Rechnungslegung.

Born in 1966, advisor/proofreader for financial and economic translations
After obtaining a master's degree in Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen, Monika Domeisen worked in publishing (marketing, controlling, etc.). She also held a management position in an international environment for several years. In addition, Monika Domeisen was a professor of international accounting for five years.

Umberto Pajarola, Dr. iur.
Geb. 1976, Berater/Korrektor für juristische Fachübersetzungen
Nach dem Studium der Rechtswissenschaften, einer Assistenztätigkeit am Lehrstuhl für Straf- und Strafprozessrecht sowie der Promotion zum Dr. iur. an der Universität Zürich, erwarb er die Börsenhändlerlizenz SWX, amtete in diversen Gesellschaften als Verwaltungsrat und war in verschiedenen Funktionen in der Strafverfolgung und Justiz tätig.

Born in 1976, advisor and proofreader for legal translations
Since finishing his legal studies at the University of Zurich (Master of Law) and obtaining his Ph.D. in Law while working as assistant to a professor of the Chair of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the same university, Umberto Pajarola has worked in various positions related to criminal prosecution and the justice system. He also successfully completed the SWX Trader Exam and sat on the board of various companies.

David Jester
Translator and proofreader, based in Paris, member of the Société Française des Traducteurs
David Jester (B.A. Classics, University of Texas) founded Anglais Direct, a consultancy specialized in translation and language training, in 1993. After working as an institutional broker for several years, David Jester is now applying that experience to translating from French into English in the fields of finance, commercial property, law, and general business.
